If you have noticed that your body is stagnant and mind moving a million miles an hour, you may be seeking a sense of unification: a yoga of sorts, a kind of union that takes place not only on a yoga mat or high on a mountain top but right in your home living space. That has always been the gift yoga’s sister science, Ayurveda, the wisdom of life and longevity, which takes place in action in our bathrooms, our bedrooms, kitchens, gardens, and relationships, exactly where we are right now.

In this 8-week, in-depth course with Anjali Sunita, we will meet weekly on Sundays via Zoom from 6:30-8pm, and we will engage in a deep dive into the practices that Ayurveda has to offer, from simple self-care items that can make the world of difference, to working with nutrition by dosha (or body type) and by season. What better time to start taking care of your body than the new year?

In this course, you can expect: 1 zoom call per week with access to the recordings; Some of Anjali’s favorite easy recipes; Weekly PDF documents with information and practices; One pre-recorded Intro to Ayurveda Lecture; and Access to a private FB group for group discussions and postings. BONUS: after completion of the course, each participant will receive 50% off the regular price of a 1:1 consultation with Anjali.

The course will take shape as we move along, but the general intention is to cover the following on a week-by-week basis, moving a little bit deeper into Ayurvedic self-care and nutrition practices each time we meet:

  1. Creating good space (Sukha).

  2. Practices for Balancing the Winds of Change.

  3. The 6 Tastes of Ayurveda

  4. Stoking the Fire

  5. Eat for Your Dosha & Agni Type

  6. Make some Ayurvedic Staples

  7. Spice up Your Life

  8. Your Questions Answered

*The course is structured so that you can pay on a sliding scale basis, anywhere from $250-350. Please select the payment option that works best for you on MindBody and pay what you are able. Thank you for your generosity.

About Anjali

Ayurvedic Health Counselor, Ayurvedic Panchakarma Specialist & Yoga Teacher

Anjali Sunita is a yoga teacher and has been a practitioner of Ayurveda for many years. She is passionate about Ayurveda, and she is committed to study and service in this field for the rest of her life.

Anjali understands the time, patience, and compassion it takes to reach a space of living one's practice. For many of us, the path to peace and purpose feels like the ever changing cycles of day and night, at times illuminating and at time elusive. It can feel non-linear and often having a friendly professional, a clear eye of reflection, can support us to walk our unique journeys.

Anjali is committed to helping others, to finding common lifestyle practices as a doorway to mindfulness in a way that feels integrated and manageable given their unique lives and lifestyles. She has been teaching for over 17 years and is committed to walking the long haul with you to health and peace.

Anjali completed the Ayurvedic Health Counseling at the Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico under Dr. Vasant Lad, in his clinics in India, and Ayurvedic Panchakarma specialist training through Charak Ayurveda Dr. Rajesh Kalwadia in Jaipur, India, in 2015 and 2016. Anjali is on a track for the A.D (Ayurvedic Doctor) certificate through Kerela Ayurveda.
