Qigong 4 Well-Being
Qigong means “life energy cultivation"
Qigong — "life energy cultivation" — is an ancient practice combining slow movement, intentional breath, and meditation to support whole-body wellness. It's gentle, adaptable, and accessible at any age or fitness level. At Sattva, Qigong is led by Tammy Bray across a range of classes, from a beginner intro course to ongoing weekly membership sessions.

Meet Tammy Bray
Tammy Bray has been practicing Qigong for over 12 years and has led Sattva's Qigong community since 2023. She studies with Lee Holden of Holden Qigong and Master Mingtong Gu of Wisdom Healing Qigong and The Chi Center. Tammy brings both the practical and the profound — Qigong as a daily wellness tool and as a deeper path into awareness, energy, and healing. She is also a Reiki master, soul artist, and lifelong explorer. Questions about any of Tammy's classes? Reach her directly at joyfulvibraytions@gmail.com.

Intro to Qigong 4 Well-Being
(2-Part Course)
In this intro series, we begin with what is Qigong and why would you choose Qigong as a practice to enhance your life. You will even see how this practice is playful as we explore how to cultivate this life force energy within and around you. We take a look at the importance of learning that energy flows where attention goes.
In this series we focus on breath practice, as well as move into learning about the three dantians (energy centers of the body), postures, principles, stances, movements, meditation, and how all of this contributes to living into the relaxation, mindfulness and centeredness that the practice of Qigong provides, which in turn opens us up to so much more of our world.
Completion of this course is required before joining ongoing weekly membership classes

Open to Wisdom Healing Qigong
(Weekly Class on Tuesday's)
This weekly class will include teachings and practice (movement, meditation, sound healing and embodied awakening) of Wisdom Healing Qigong.
This has been created by Master Mingtong Gu in the past few decades as a result of his healing and training in Zhineng Qigong, which he learned from and experienced with his teacher, Master Dr. Pang Ming in China at the medicine-less hospital. These are possible pathways into healing and awakening, and coming home to your body.
This way of Qigong continues to emphasize the formlessness (unseen life force energy) at the roots of the ancient art of Qigong. It promotes the health and vitality benefits of an ongoing experience of how to live in the present moment with an embodied awareness of this energy.
You will learn how to set a Chi Field, and over time we will work with practices such as "Lift Chi Up/Pour Chi Down", "Awaken Your Vitality", Full Moon meditation and more. To engage in this class is to want to deepen one's skills in living life in awareness and relationship with subtle energy within and all around us, which truly can bring us into living deeper relaxation, sense of peace and harmony, joy and health and vitality in everyday life.
