What is Inside Out Yoga?
“Yoga from the Inside Out” is a guided journey of self-discovery through asana. Each class is a meditation in motion where participants are encouraged to listen to their bodies and foster their inner experience through the vehicle of the breath. Students have described their experience as a flower bud slowly unfolding its petals to the light. If you are a person who values time to breathe, enjoys mindful movement, and seeks to deepen the mind-body-spirit connection, then “Yoga from the Inside Out” will be a wonderful hour in your week.
Meet your Inside Out Yoga Teacher, Bethany Rodriguez
Bethany is a lifetime yogi who began her journey during college. She then studied yoga and astrology with Priscilla Potter of Yoga Connection in Tucson, AZ in the 1990’s and started teaching at the YWCA of York in 1999.
In the decades since, she was active in Eight Stones Yoga Studio with mentor Richard Mauro and has been inspired by many teachers through self-study, workshops, and retreats. She draws diverse inspirations from the creative yoga explorations of Angela Farmer and Victor Van Kooten, and the ancient teachings and yoga therapy of Gary Kraftsow, Viniyoga Institute. All of this and 37 years of teaching and learning inform Bethany’s approach to the art and science of yoga.
