Sattva means the quality of purity or goodness
Sattva Center for Movement and Healing is a dedicated hub for integrative wellness.
Established originally just down the road on Beaver Street, Sattva started as a small studio dedicated to offering traditional yoga styles and eastern practices to all of Downtown York. Located now just below The Residences at Heritage Crossings, the Sattva Center has grown to include even more movement and healing practices for all of York County to move, recover, and reconnect.
Our center continues to be a place of calm and tranquility, where laughter intertwines with breath and movement, and seekers of Truth find space for meditation and contemplation.
We are proud to offer a diverse range of traditional and modern modalities to support your individual path toward movement and healing.
Sattva’s Story
Sattva Center for Meditation & Yoga is based on a vision that came to Megan while she was sitting at the feet of her spiritual master, Mooji. It is through his Grace that Sattva has been created. The word "guru" means one who dispels darkness. We give salutations to those that come before us, to those that lead us in the direction of Truth and light and ourselves.
The effort to understand yourself is Yoga. Be a Yogi, give your life to it, brood, wonder, search, till you come to the root of error and the truth beyond the error.

Sattva’s Founder Story
Megan is a recovering corporate attorney who spent 25 years practicing yoga before opening Sattva's doors in Downtown York. Her teaching cuts through modern fitness trends to treat yoga as an honest, internal practice. Specializing in breath-led Ashtanga, grounding Yin, and grounding bodywork, she holds space for students navigating the heavy fog of modern burnout.
