Intro Course to Qigong 4 Well-Being

If you have been looking for a gentle way to slow down, release deep-seated stress, and restore your natural vitality, we invite you to step onto the mat for our foundational Intro to Qigong 4 Well-Being class.

Qigong (pronounced "chee-gong") translates to "life energy cultivation." It is an ancient, low-impact Eastern practice that combines slow, flowing movements, intentional breathing techniques, and quiet meditation to support whole-body wellness.

Led by Tammy Bray—who brings over 15 years of compassionate experience in energy work and holistic wellness—this immersive 2-hour class is a beautifully supportive introduction to the practice. You will learn the philosophy behind how "energy flows where attention goes" and walk away with practical tools to soothe your nervous system in daily life.

What We Will Explore Together:

  • The Three Dantians: An introduction to building conscious awareness around the body’s primary energy centers (head, heart, and lower abdomen).

  • Postures & Stances: Grounding, alignment-focused positions designed to open up the joints and release physical tension.

  • Flowing Movements: Slow, repetitive, and gentle forms that calm the mind and invite deep full-body relaxation.

  • Breath & Meditation: Intentional breathing practices paired with a centered meditation to help you pull out of your busy thoughts and ease into inner stillness.

Who This Is For:
This class is open to all adults. No prior experience, flexibility, or specific fitness level is required. Whether you are completely new to energy practices or simply want to try a softer, restorative style of movement, you are warmly welcome here.
